Video is one of the best tool to promote affiliate products. You can demostrate step-by-step guide on how to use the products you promoted.

Anyone can recommend any good service that can help us to create videos to promote our products? Prefer with good voice and English native speakers. 🙂 Of course the price is the main concern.

Right on pictures work better than boring text and live videos kicks up the effect one more notch. Most are already using pictures and texts as a method of promotion, adding video to the mix will spice up the sales and should increase your conversions as your marketing is presented in a larger variety.

The only problem I have with videos is that my net connection is slow to view them and excessively slow to upload them, otherwise I’d have videos everywhere!

I’ve been considering Camtasia for a while now, but the version 3 freebie isn’t available any more. At $300 for the full version, I was hesitant because I wasn’t sure the benefit would outweigh the cost plus the cost of additional bandwidth usage.

You just helped me make up my mind. Thanks again.

Well I learned something today. How I can use video to boost sales on eBay. This is something I now intend to do with my new range of videos showing you how to get traffic to a website.

What better than to give a video sample to show the customer what he or she will be getting?

Thanks for the post Reed. Not to be picky but I would say that video is the wave of the NOW, not just the future so it would be wise to implement video into our businesses as fast as we can.

Camtasia is a fantastic tool for creating videos.

Here’s a hint for your readers of one way I use Camtasia, and, in so doing, I end up with 3 pieces of content. We all are always trying to figure out ways to create content so this should help.

I write an article (first piece of content), then I create a Powerpoint presentation with pictures, background music and me narrating my article using Camstasia to record the video.

Using Camtasia this way I get both a .wmv file and an .mp3 file (second and third pieces of content) which I can submit to video sites and podcast sites.

This way I am also providing my content in different formats which allows me to reach a wider audience.

    Regards,
    Chris

Good post again. I have not used videos yet, although I have thought about it. There are videos and there are good videos. A large number of the videos that I have seen were not worth watching, the good videos did get my attention! There is an investment in equipment so you have make sure that you follow through. There has been a trend for video training. I have not been too impressed yet.

I couldn’t agree more than you do Reed, video on youtube is the only way to get indexed and backlinks fast enough to get leads and free traffic, in fact at the moment I am trying to make video about my sites to get all response around the globe with specific niche markets, and above that also enables me to get unique visitors out of my niche market and keywords.

I am not going to comment on today’s blog post. I want to comment on my observation of myself seemingly being addicted to your blog.

You see, I have a lot of blog sites bookmarked in my browser, but somehow I am not able to visit them because there are simply a lot of other things to read in my emails.

But with your email announcement of a new blog post, I could not help but open and read it every time. Why have I become so addicted? Is it because it happens to be that that is the information I need? Is it because your headlines are magnetic? Or simply that I find your information helpful?

No matter what the reason is, the fact remains that I read your blogs everyday. And then, I copy and paste it, and save it as word document in my hard disk. I do not forget to include the URL from which I got it.

    Hi Reed,

Using video in your business is something really powerful.

You get the best conversion rate when you talk with people personally because they can ask you questions and you can answer instantly.

On the Internet it’s not possible but the solution is using videos to explain your product and to communicate with your prospects.

Camtasia is really powerful and very easy to use. This is the way to go to maximize your profits.

    Reed,
Great post about my favorite subject…Camtasia!

Couple of quick, free resources for your readers who want to know more:

    1. The latest version of Camtasia (version 6) was only released a few days ago (Nov. 5th).

    2. One thing that many people overlook when making Camtasia videos is the quality of the audio or voice narration. Bad audio (too loud, booming “P” and “B” consonants, noisy, etc.) will CRUSH the effectiveness of any video!

This is the #1 reason many Camtasia videos out there…well…suck.

Hope this helps your readers out and, as stated above…I’m addicted to your blog posts! Great Stuff!

Your right Reed, video is where it’s at today. Luckily I jumped on the bandwagon when Techsmith made a mistake and started giving away Camtasia 3 for free. You can’t get it anymore unless you pay $300 for it.

I’m one of those types people that needs to visualize things as opposed to reading an ebook. I have spent literally hundreds of hours watching video tutorials online. I think I’m addicted.

One of the things I’ve used it for was to help people on my list. They will email me with a technical problem they may be having with something on one of my sites so I’ve found the quickest and most effective way to help them is to create a quick video on how to solve the problem. It cuts down on the emails back and forth.
