I am also new to trading stocks entirely. Delta (DAL) caught my eye as the price is very low for a company of such mass.

Question:
If they file chapter 11 I have heard at that time you can not buy stock; is that true. If so when would be the "time to by" I would assume right before they file in fear that when they pull out of ch.11 it would immidiatly skyrocket.

I would greatly appriciate any ideas or information that I could be missing.
