Hi Everyone,

To save time I have zipped the files for this week. You can download them here: http://www.ibdu.com/tools/screens/canslim/...12-01/12-01.zip

To unzip these files you will need a utility like Winzip http://www.winzip.com/

Enjoy,

Reed Floren

Hi Everyone,

The screens for this week 12/7 to 12/13 are here: http://www.ibdu.com/tools/screens/canslim/...12-05/12-05.zip

I'm not updating the screener since I don't think it is very useful.

As mentioned before you will need a utility like Winzip http://www.winzip.com/ to unzip these files.

Enjoy,

Reed Floren

Hi esb,

I used to create a file that we determine if a stock was in a particular screen, in fact I have a old sample if you want to see it.

Basically I would copy and paste each of the screens into different worksheets of the excel file and then I had a worksheet which would put a "1" if the stock was in that screen or a "0" if it wasn't.

You can view it here: (Please note this excel file is huge. 2+ megabytes if I remember correctly.) http://www.ibdu.com/tools/screens/canslim/...3/11-21/all.xls

Reed,

Consider these additional criteria. From IBD I see that a lot of requirements for a stock to average 50,000 shares a day minimum.

And then I interpret that a stock in a good handle will need to have the volume dip. So I look for stocks with average volume the last 2 weeks to be less than the volume for the last 3 months. That way, I find stocks where the selling has dried up.
