Last month hackers got into one of my
sites and implanted some malware
which was a really hard to remove.
It took multiple scans and manually
removing a bunch of junk files they
had uploaded to make my site safe
to visit again.
Just last week an eBay account of mine
was compromised and someone ordered
a few different items using the PayPal
and credit card that were linked.
Of course American Express didn’t
charge me for the items but PayPal
put my account on hold for 4 days
while they investigated it.
It was a real pain in the neck and caused
a major loss of income.
Even if you are careful about things you
open and download, sites you visit and run
virus and malware scans…. hackers are still
out there and they are looking to do you harm.
