3 Steps To Quick Article Marketing Cash

It has been a while since I posted. Since Christmas is around the corner and I am figuring that most folks would have a need for some quick cash to buy gifts for their family and friends. Here are 3 steps to pocket some ready cash from article marketing.

Step 1 – Setting Up A SalesPage

You will want to create a simple salespage. Do you own any products? If you do, put up a firesale, dimesale or whatever. Offer it at a huge discount from your usual price.

If you do not own a product, dig within your arsenal and find some products with Master Resale Rights or Private Label Rights. Assemble them and put them up for sale for a ridiculously low price. Perhaps $3 to $17 depending on the value.

Organize them into themes, such as Web 2.0, Web Traffic, Article Marketing, List Building, etc.

Niches that are not related to internet marketing like Christmas recipes, etc are also good. One way to do it is to find products that carry buzz now. Since its Christmas season, you can look at some of the popular Christmas gifts.

Use PayPal if possible since it pays instantly.

If that is too much work for you, you can always start promoting a product that pays you 100% commissions. Many of them are priced around $7 just like my Article Cash Robots that pays you $7 commissions instantly into your PayPal account for your sales. No waiting is needed.

Step 2 – Time To Drive Traffic With Articles

Get ready 10 to 20 articles. Yes, target some really relevant keywords to your salespage.

Write and submit them to EzineArticles and Web 2.0 content pages like Squidoo, HubPages and Zimbio or Xomba.

Step 3 – Get Some Buzz

Submit the articles and Web 2.0 pages to social bookmarking sites, especially places like Digg, Stumbleupon, etc. This will get some buzz around your pages and get you some quick traffic.

Participate in forums actively. Create a bold statement about your offer.

Post your comments in popular blogs to generate some backlinks and pull in traffic.

Since the topic is on article marketing for cash, I have not mentioned other tips and tricks in the 3 steps. But if you want to boost the traffic quickly, you can set up a PPC campaign to drive some instant traffic from content networks. You can also create a video and post it to YouTube, Viddler and other video sites to get more eyeballs on your offer.

That’s all.

Great post. I feel that there is more to article marketing than most people think. You cannot just write a volume of articles and expext sales. You have to give high quality content, and the articles have to be targeted to the specific product you are promoting.

Some article marketing tactics I use are to write around a 400 word article for keywords that have some search volume, but are not too competitive. I then send them to a squeeze page where I can get there name and email and follow up accordingly.

Another good post. I am still not into article marketing yet. You have to promote, promote, promote…….. It can be more time consuming but a lot cheaper than pay per click.

This is all good information but the missing link is: how do you get people to your sales page, who are ready to buy what you have?

It can take quite a while (unless you’re riding the wave of a hugely popular phenomenon — hint hint??) to get visitors to a sales page.

Keywords in articles aren’t enough, IMHO.

So let’s have an overview of exactly how this works, in order to actually make consistent sales. THAT would be a huge value, Reed 🙂

    Thanks.

  • Hi Matthew, you are right in talking about high quality content. Content needs to be LSI-compliant, relevant and unique.

Hi Pat, capturing a list is important if you are building your IM list. But it is not necessary the case if you are targeting non-IM niches. Some markets are not rabid markets, meaning to say people will buy once from you and there are not many backend offers you can make. If you are building a list, make sure there is a link to your salespage on the redirected page ie thank you/confirmation page to instruct them to double optin and to make that offer. So you will kill 2 birds with 1 stone. 😉

Nancy, riding on a huge popular phenomenon will generate a lot of buzz. Article marketing will get people to your sales page faster if you are targeting a suddenly popular niche. Make use of Hot Trends. Other than that, targeting people who already knows the value of your products using targeted articles will pull in buyers as well. Key is to offer an incredibly good offer that they simply cannot reject!

Thanks Davion, It is a nice article.I do not agree on one point.PayPal may be a quick way to get money in some countries. But as far as i know the huge south asian market is prohibited by them to sell anything and collect money. We are certainly not prohibitted to spend our money through them though!

Hello and thankyou for your advice

    One question

You advise to create 10-20 articles and then post them to several publishers

Isn that duplication? for instance Ezine has always scared me of doing this for fear they will find my articles elseqhere and reject it from their site

Might have got this wrong but seems important to understand this business of “dupliaction”

Thanks again for your good advise

There’s really more to article marketing than we presently know.

High quality unique content that is optimized;targeting specific keyword and phrases is all that one need but that’s not all.

Make sure that you post in high traffic boards and forums. This will give an advantage of free traffic that is targeted.

Great idea. Problem is whatever I put together, no one is ever interested in buying.. Case in point, have a spanish course i located, for my 1 roommate, and now she insists I give it to her for free, after it cost me $49.00, which I refused to give to her, to the point of taking another beating.

    Great tips, Davion!

There are so many wonderful niches out there just waiting for someone to take advantage of. The only thing I would add is, if you are looking to build a site around a niche for the long haul, chose something you can be passionate about. If you aren’t passionate about your niche, it’s likely that your insincerity will show and you won’t have as much success. Especially when it comes to marketing your niche through article marketing.

    Happy New Year!
